AI Foundations and Professional Prototyping teaches high school and undergraduate students the practical AI basics needed to build real, defensible prototypes for business, startups, and measurable outcomes. Led by mentor-guided instructors, you’ll learn how models work, how to frame problems, and how to turn an idea into a working prototype with evaluation, limitations testing, and a polished demo. You’ll leave with: (1) a clear understanding of core AI concepts (data, prompts, evaluation, bias, and reliability), (2) a prototype you can present and iterate, (3) a lightweight “professional” workflow for requirements, experimentation, and reporting, and (4) mentor feedback that improves your next project iteration—ideal preparation for Nxeds project-based training in AI in Business & Entrepreneurship.
